September 29th, 2007[Posted by S.I. on behalf of the Desi Manifesto crew] As Indian men, we’ve shared numerous experiences that sometimes only other South Asian men can grasp. This is especially true when it comes to living in the US. But up to this point, the only way to really discuss these experiences freely, among other men, was to have a set of brown friends who understand the nuances of your family, culture, stereotypes, and possible frustration with the attitudes of brown women.
Until now. Feel free to rant, rave, and ruminate. That’s what this blog is about. A bunch of editorials for the like-minded as well as those who can articulate their grievances with us and why they think we’re hacks. Hey, if it’s well thought out and well worded, we’ll post it.
