Well, take a look at the posting above. Sometimes you can be denied opportunities at housing because someone has notions about desis as roommates.

And, while desis are successful on the whole, opportunities aren't solely defined as "access to high paying jobs." In day-to-day social interactions, there are numerous examples (getting served last at a diner because they want to cater to white clients first and crappy/inattentive service--happened to me; someone assuming you don't speak English even though you are dressed the same and look the same as everyone else around you--happened to me).

Certainly, we're not the worst off. We're not even close, in my mind. Everyone goes through it to a degree depending on setting (e.g., a redneck in NYC perhaps). But it does exist, and it completed my kick ass metaphor.

Can you give example of those oppurtunities?

All the desis I know (quite alot) are successful in their chosen career fields.

So are you talking career oppurtunities or other stuff?

I should clarify. I did not mean legal rights. I suppose "rights" wasn't the best word to use, but I meant it as in "opportunities," though it encompasses much more at times.

As for DBDs women being cleaner than men, I actually don't know because I've never lived with a DBD who wasn't related to me.

But from my experiences, all I can say is, I hope so (bottom line though, kids who are spoiled don't learn the lessons they need to live alone).

.........."the other from being a minority who even on the freest of days may not have the same rights as the majority".........

What legal rights do you not have?

........THIS;..... "is there a correlation with people having servants and never learning responsibility and how to wipe their own asses and these same people having dirty homes? YES.".......

Would explain THIS;

......."In facdt do not let your room to Indians peroid, for they are dirty, they will make your toilet stinky, going to the bathroom a lot, the whold bathroom stinks after they use it, and will not clean up after themselves after using bathroom.".....

My question then would be, are DBD women cleaner than DBD men?
